Macey

Macey was a kind dog who loved everyone. She loved being held and loved cuddling with those she was close with. Macey had a habit of taking any new toy and making it “well worn” by ripping out all the stuffing, turning the toy into “roadkill”, but having the greatest time doing it. She was someone who loved laying on the back steps basking in the sun for hours on end. Macey also found so many great friends throughout her life, both human and other dogs, sadly Macey was never a fan of cats. Some of her favorite things were to play with other dogs including the neighbor dog Greta, guests who would come over such as Jedi and Lily, and her new roommate Maverick. She loved having Maverick around and showed him how to be a loving dog just like her. Macey enjoyed much great food in her life, including eating raspberries off the bush in the backyard, eating a giant cucumber that was growing through the garden fence, and of course stealing pancakes from off the kitchen table when nobody was looking. Macey will live on through Maverick, Lily, and Jedi, as well as forever in our hearts.
